Some things about me:
I grew up in a solar-powered home outside Santa Fe, NM. We grew a good bit of our own food and my parents built the house we lived in.
I’ve always loved music. I’ve played guitar since I was about 11. I learned about Zimbabwean music and played in a marimba band in Santa Fe for about five years. I’ve learned a few other instruments along the way as well.
I got a degree in economics from Macalester College. While I was there I studied political science, environmental science, and anything else that seemed related to my primary interest in sustainable economic development.
I now live in San Francisco, where I’ve worked as an economic consultant, met loads of truly exceptional people, taken hundreds of photographs, and cooked / eaten the best food of my life.
